Concept
– Superlofts concept was created due to the high demand for more diverse loft typologies
– The concept can evolve, allowing more lofts configurations
– A self-initiated community housing project
– Highly tailored loft apartments within a fixed structural framework
– Each loft can be designed uniquely to meet the lifestyle of the user and can be adapted over time

Typologies
– There is a choice of four house types: Low-rise Lofts, Garden Lofts, High-rise Lofts and Penthouses
– Floor areas of the lofts from 56m2 to 190m2
– The shapes and sizes of each loft are determined by each family’s demand

Sustainability
– Climate neutral energy system
– CO2 sensitive ventilation system
– Floor heating using heat recovery
– Floor cooling using canal water
– Smart hot fill system in every loft supplies more efficient hot water for washing machine
– Active solar power 2500 W/ apartment
– Passive solar heating by triple glazed surfaces + electric sun screens
– Electric car and bike charging points
– Waste sorting
– Adjustable interior wall and floor system: flexibility in time equals future proof
– Use of sustainable, low-maintenance materials in facade
– Social sustainability due to community development

Community
– 19 self-designed loft apartments form a diverse community
– Shared roof terrace, entrance zone and integrated parking
– Strong active home owner association
– Strong involvement of residents in project development in all project phases
